Turning a Physical Card into a Digital Experience

Voila Card uses NFC technology to let people share their contact information without relying on a traditional business card or requiring the recipient to install an application.

The design challenge was translating this simple physical interaction into a complete mobile experience where users could create and manage their digital cards, update personal information, and organize their connections within a clear product structure.

Designing the Core Mobile Experience

As the UI/UX Designer, I worked on the key flows and interface of the Voila Card mobile application, including creating a digital card, editing profile information, and managing connections.

I focused on establishing clear information hierarchy, straightforward navigation, and consistent interaction patterns across the product. The interface was structured around the actions users needed to perform most often, while reusable visual patterns helped maintain consistency between different parts of the application.

Building a Consistent System Around Digital Identity

The final product brought profile management, digital cards, connections, and NFC-based sharing into a shared mobile experience.

A consistent set of layouts, components, typography, and interaction patterns created a common foundation across the application while supporting different types of profile and contact information. This gave Voila Card a flexible interface system that could support its core digital networking experience without treating each feature as a separate design problem.
