Reimagining the University’s Digital Identity
Sabancı University, one of Turkey’s leading educational institutions, embarked on a comprehensive website transformation to align its digital presence more closely with its innovative academic vision and established institutional identity.
The goal was not simply to modernize the existing interface. The challenge was to create a new digital structure capable of supporting a broad audience with different expectations—from prospective and current students to academics and administrative staff—while turning an extensive academic content ecosystem into a clear, accessible, and cohesive experience.

Transforming a Complex Ecosystem into an Intuitive Experience
As a UI/UX Designer at Agency Look, I played a key role in shaping the design experience across more than 150 screens throughout the 11-month project. I contributed to bringing diverse content types, user needs, and institutional requirements together within a unified interface system.
My approach focused on strengthening content hierarchy, making complex academic information easier to discover, and helping users reach relevant content with minimal effort. Throughout the project, we developed scalable responsive layouts, reusable components, and consistent interaction patterns that established a cohesive visual language across the platform.
Each design decision was shaped by the need to simplify the user experience while reflecting Sabancı University’s forward-thinking character.

Building a Digital Foundation Worthy of the Institution
The redesigned website brought Sabancı University’s academic strength and prestigious identity together within a more contemporary, accessible, and user-centered digital experience.
The new information architecture and modular interface system made content easier to navigate for different user groups while creating a sustainable foundation that could adapt to the university’s future needs.
The outcome was more than a visual renewal. It was a comprehensive transformation that clarified a complex content ecosystem, delivered consistency across devices, and improved the everyday digital experience of thousands of users.
